Philadelphia Officer Arrested After Firing His Gun at a Car

A Philadelphia police officer is facing charges after allegedly firing his gun on a civilian’s car.

Investigators say Officer Ross Scott was driving his motorcycle off-duty when the driver allegedly cut him off. Scott allegedly collided with the car, flipped over the car and landed in the road. That’s when Scott allegedly pulled out his gun and fired at the driver. Scott was charged with four counts of aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and possession of an instrument of crime.

Scott has been suspended for 30 days and is expected to be fired after that probation period.
