New York Giants Receiver Arrested for OVI

Roger Lewis, a receiver for the New York Giants, was arrested on OVI (operating a vehicle while impaired) charges over the weekend. Lewis was pulled over in Ohio for speeding and tinted windows, but arresting authorities claimed to smell marijuana from inside of Lewis’s vehicle. They also allege that Lewis appeared intoxicated. Lewis refused a requested breathalyzer test and was taken into custody. He was later released to a friend. An update from TMZ informs that authorities say an “unknown liquid” was found in the car, and it has been sent to a testing lab. More charges will be filed if the liquid is determined to be an illegal substance.
