Garbage Truck Driver Arrested After Reckless Driving

A Kentucky man is facing charges after driving a garbage truck down the wrong way of a highway last week.

23-year-old Dalton Lampley struck, or caused the collisions, of seven passenger cars and one semi-truck. Six people were injured in the crashes. One of the victims had to be airlifted to a local hospital, and some of the injuries are life-threatening. Lampley reached speeds of nearly 70 miles per hour while driving down the wrong lanes. Lampley has been charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police and first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer.

Lampley also faces drug charges and a driving under the influence charge.
