Arrested: booked on suspicion of driving under the influence of prescription drugs.Locklear was released without needing to post bail

A witness reportedly saw the actress driving erratically when leaving a parking lot. A CHP officer later found her car parked on a highway, she was blocking a traffic lane in Montecito, near Santa Barbara, about 90 miles northwest of Los Angeles.

Locklear starred in "Dynasty" and in "Melrose Place" Television shows.
